Kensington and Chelsea College has a successful history of providing Further Education courses for adults. We offer a wide range of full-time and part-time courses right in the heart of London.
There are often many reasons for returning to study later in life; you could simply want to pursue a new interest or hobby, or pick up where you left off at school. Whatever your reasons, we offer a wide variety of courses suitable for adult learning and be supported through your programme by our experienced and supportive staff.
This one year course offers a flexible and comprehensive range of modules. Students select a personalised course that can meet a variety of outcomes. Modules are available at different levels, and subject areas include Anatomy Physiology, Health & Fitness, Sports Injuries, First Aid, Biomechanics, Sports Psychology, Diet and Nutrition, Coaching Skills and Sociology. These are applied to sport and exercise through classroom study, discussion and practical workshops. Acceptance on all courses is by interview only. You will need to demonstrate an interest and enthusiasm for the subject, along with a good level of both written and spoken English. Help and assistance can be given to students who have difficulty with language, numeric and IT skills. Successful completion of the course can lead directly to employment in the community, Higher Education or other vocational awards.
