Introduction
The Jewelry Essentials program provides you with the skills and techniques necessary to begin a career in the jewelry industry. You will learn to saw, file, solder, polish, and finish metals including copper, brass, silver, and gold. Fabrication and casting techniques will be used to create jewelry items.
Jewelry history, technical drawing, gemmology, and an overview of the industry are included to provide you with a broad knowledge of the jewelry field.
While successful graduates who wish to continue their Jewellery education may apply for advanced standing in one of our other Jewelry diploma programs, it is strongly recommended that you apply for the program that best fits your career goals as space in the diploma programs is limited and may not be available.
