About the course
During the course we will review the most powerful communication strategies for architects and learn how to integrate them into your daily practice.
During the first week in Venice you will visit and study the best architecture projects in the city, review strategies and narratives around them.
In the second week our experts share the insights on how to use the communication tools in the right way. You will practice to present your design choices publicly and use sketches, diagrams, models, video and renderings to get your ideas noticed.

A unique opportunity to approach the universe of computer graphics and gain general knowledge in its various segments such as: Animation, Concept Art, Special Effects (VFX), Games and Virtual Reality (VR). The learning happens during the development of a series of projects, that is, the student will "learn by doing", in a 100% practical and interdisciplinary way. The program was created for the student who is interested in the subject, but has little or no experience and would like to become a professional or change the career.
The course is structured in three modules. In the first are key elements such as: image capture, creation from raw material and general notions of the main software used in the industry. At this stage the professions of the areas are contextualized. In the second and third module the student chooses a specific area to develop in more depth: Animation, Games or Visual Effects. The Faculty of Art and Design at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar established the English-language, postgraduate M. F. A. degree programme in »Public Art and New Artistic Strategies« in the winter semester 2001/02. As the first and only master‘s degree programme of its kind in Germany, it prepares fine arts students for working in the public sphere and provides them with the skills required for effective artistic intervention.This degree programme is targeted at international students and was established with start-up capital provided by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Students from around the world participate in this MFA programme, and German students benefit from the vast network of international partner universities where they can study for one or two semesters abroad. Enrolment in this degree programme is limited to 40 students. Foreign students spend four semesters studying in Weimar, while German students are required to study abroad for at least one semester. This unique course brings together the key concepts of both photography and fashion to provide students with introductory knowledge and skills in fashion photography. Emphasizing both technical photography skills and fashion industry insight, this course gives the student a well-rounded understanding of the business of fashion and the role of the fashion photographer within the industry. To provide the student a real ‘insider’ perspective, this course also includes interactions with established fashion photographers, makeup artist, and modeling agencies.
