Introduction
Who is the course for?
This course is designed for those who are keen to progress their careers as effective business managers, supervisors, and team leaders in diverse industries. It is designed for international students who will be involved in training in a full-time capacity within the classroom and simulated work (where applicable) environment. This qualification aims to equip participants with business, managerial, marketing, and human resource management skills.
Assessment Summary
Theory and practical knowledge skills are assessed within a classroom, simulated workplace environment providing access to the required resource identified in the unit of competency assessment conditions and reflect the business services environment.
Assessment is completed on a unit-by-unit basis using a range of assessment methods. Assessment methods will cover written questions, scenarios, projects, observations, and presentations. Students will also be required to complete assessment tasks in their own time.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, graduates will be able to manage all aspects of the business. Graduates will be able to manage administration, marketing, and human resources. They will also know how to manage programs that promote personal effectiveness. Graduates will manage and report on projects successfully, whilst knowing how to manage risk within the business.
This course may lead to roles such as Executive Officer, Project Consultant Administrator, Business Sales Team and etc.
Delivery Mode
For each unit, students will be required to attend face to face classes, and complete self-paced activities and assessment tasks.
Pathways
Students who successfully complete the assessment requirements for BSB50215 Diploma of Business will be issued with a certificate and may enter directly into BSB60215 Advanced Diploma of Business.

Day Timetables will consist of 4 sessions delivered in 2 days + self-directed learning:

*Please note that the timetable is subject to change. FOCUS reserves the right to make adjustments to the timetable of all its classes to best suit the academic requirements of the programs. Each VET batch in a course has been allocated with space for 16 hours per week. The 4-hour self-directed learning may take place on campus or off campus. Students may use the computer lab space or classroom space based on availability.
