The Agriculture Department offers courses from various agricultural fields including The Agricultural Industry, Agronomy, Introduction to Agricultural Economics, Introduction to Animal Science, Dairy Science, Horticulture, Livestock Evaluation, Marketing of Agriculture Products, and Wildlife Conservation and Management.

Horticulture is defined as the science or art of cultivating fruits, vegetables, flowers, turf grass and ornamental plants. The field can take you in many directions, but most careers involve some type of science including biology, chemistry, and physics.
