The University of Scranton offers an online, graduate-level Certificate in Enterprise Resource Planning, helping to secure your position—and possibly increase your pay—in the booming ERP field.

The entrepreneurship program provides students broad, intellectual, practical skills that demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and concepts related to identifying business opportunities, evaluating ideas, assessing the markets, and exploring risks and rewards. Additionally, students will develop a business model canvas and pitch their business idea. Through courses that include hands-on and experiential learning, students develop knowledge and skills that serve as a springboard to start, run, and grow their own business. This certificate is designed for those interested in starting their own business, exposing students to the basics of entrepreneurship, including design thinking, customer assessment, problem-solving, financing, and leveraging resources. It will utilize the Business Model Canvas technique and provide students with critical insights into the basics of founding-team formation. Students will learn about the Gig economy, legal business structures, e-commerce, networks, key relationships, and the differences between the many types of solopreneurs.

The Technical Certificate in Entrepreneurship is designed to inspire critical thinking in students, develop positive approaches to problem-solving, build creativity attributes, and foster and enhance individuals' entrepreneurial traits.

This program offers a sequence of courses needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Business Management and Administration career cluster. The program provides technical skill proficiency, and includes competency-based applied learning that contributes to the academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, general employability skills, technical skills, and occupation-specific skills, and knowledge of all aspects of the Business Management and Administration career cluster.
