The continued growth in international trade and the growing opportunities for boosting sales, increasing market share and ROI, finding raw materials, and lowering costs in international markets have greatly impacted businesses and how they operate. To compete in the global marketplace, professionals must learn the strategies, policies, norms and technology necessary to conduct international business, develop an overseas customer base and ultimately manage the international business operations. To be successful, business professionals must understand and develop the knowledge and skills necessary to manage the starting, or expansion of, international operations.

This programme is designed for undergraduate business students who have an interest in studying all aspects of international business including accounting, finance, law, marketing, entrepreneurship and economics.

In 2021, the Global Retailing Program (GR Program) is added to the Professional Research Course Master’s Degree curriculum at the Graduate School of Business and Commerce. After students have obtained the required credits, a GR Program Certificate of Completion will be offered, in addition to the Master’s Degree. Globalization in retailing and platform business operations has been advancing. Global dynamism, which involves the movement of people, goods, money, services, and information, etc., is becoming increasingly more complex. Our GR Program tackles the challenges facing retailing and provides the perspectives, knowledge, and experiences to understand global retailing. In this way, the GR Program aims to create business leaders to work actively at the forefront of distribution and retailing in Asia.

The Higher National Certificate (HNC) is a Level 4 qualification made up of 120 credits. It is usually studied full-time over one year, or part-time over two years. The Higher National Diploma (HND) is a Level 4 and Level 5 qualification made up of 240 credits. It is usually studied full-time for over two years, or part-time over four years.

The Certificate III in Business is nationally recognised course. This qualification reflects the varied roles of individuals across different industry sectors who apply a broad range of competencies using some discretion, judgment and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a team. The course is delivered over a year which includes 36 weeks (i.e. 4 terms) of teaching and 16 weeks of holiday.

Program is a certificate in Translation available in 12 languages of English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Arabic, Turkish, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Applicants may study certification programs in two or three languages, as they desire. The entire program is 200 hours of theory, reading, assignments, and various translation projects completion. Language Proficiency Exam is required from applicants in their selected languages of a Translation program.

Students will become familiar with political, economic, social, and linguistic concepts involved in doing business on the global level. Programs provide opportunities for students to gain skills in leadership, written and spoken communication, analysis and technology.
