Kindergarten Teaching Assistant Diploma Course

According to the Ontario job market analysis, the job opportunities for kindergarten teachers and kindergarten teaching assistants will continue to increase in the next five years. Especially in Scarborough, North York, and Markham, where there is a high concentration of Chinese, kindergarten teachers and teaching assistants who can speak Mandarin and Cantonese are favoured by kindergartens.

The Early Childhood Teaching Assistant Diploma (ECA) of the Canadian Institute of Business and Technology is set for 37 weeks, including two parts: classroom theory teaching and kindergarten practice. The course aims to train students to master the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical childcare skills for children aged 0-12. Senior Canadian preschool education experts conduct the courses. They are taught in small classes (with no more than 10 students in each class) to ensure that every student can receive the teacher's attention and personalized employment counselling.
