Student Residence

The Centennial College Residence is more than just a place to sleep. It’s an opportunity to develop lifelong friendships and memories. It also allows you to get fully involved in college activities and to mature in a rich academic and social community. We recommend that international students stay in our Residence during the first year of study to help jumpstart their Canadian living and learning experience. Rooms in Residence fill up quickly, so apply early.

Homestay

Coming to a new country can be exciting, but also intimidating. The homestay program partners you with a family who will host you in their home and help you adjust to your new city. You may choose to stay with the family for the entire duration of your study period, or just until you can find your own place. Centennial College works with the following homestay companies. Please contact them directly for more information and to book your stay.

Off-Campus Housing

If you prefer a more independent type of housing, there are many options for apartment or rooms that you can rent on your own. Keep in mind that all websites listed below are third-party companies, all landlords are independent and it is crucial that you do your own research and due diligence to ensure you are getting a safe place to live that is within your budget.

    Application Deadlines

International students should apply at least 2-3 months before their expected start to ensure you have enough time to apply for a study permit from the Canadian Visa office that serves your region. Centennial College issues offer letters on an ongoing basis. Apply now! The application processing time is about 2 weeks. There is not set a deadline for all programs, however, a deadline will arise as your program choice becomes full for your intended start date.

    Application Deadlines

Applicants are encouraged to apply early. Allow approximately four to six months before your expected start date to allow sufficient time for admission and Study Permit/Visa processing. However, applications received closer to the start date will be considered if there is space available in the program. Centennial offers three intakes each year:

    Winter 2021 Programs begin: January 6, 2021
