Diploma in Energy

The Diploma in Energy is a career that will provide knowledge of the energy problem, especially on conventional renewables called "soft" in all its dimensions: scientific, technical, economic, and socio-environmental policy.

It will train young people from different professions, who will understand the energy systems that have renewable natural resources as causes as constitutive factors of the structure and dynamics of societies and who can design and implement intervention strategies in these systems, either at the level of public policies or at the organizational level of companies and institutions, based on knowledge of energy sources, their flows, conversion mechanisms and uses, as well as applying research methods and techniques that generate innovations in this field.

The Diploma will provide knowledge from the technical, political, legal, economic, and social aspects, to understand and develop an Energy Generation project, especially from conventional Renewable Natural Resources, both in what has to do with the stages of research and feasibility, as in its applications and execution.
