Who is the course for?

Advanced Diploma of Business is aimed for those who intend to develop expansive areas of knowledge and skills that are useful for further employment or academic opportunities.

The qualification is suited to the needs of individuals who possess significant theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to develop in order to create further education or employment opportunities.

Assessment Summary

Theory and practical knowledge and skills are assessed within a classroom, simulated workplace environment and distance, providing access to the required resource identified in the unit of competency assessment conditions and reflects the business services environment.

Assessment is completed on a unit-by-unit basis using a range of assessment methods. Assessment methods will cover written questions, scenarios, projects, observations, and presentations.

A student will also be required to complete assessment tasks in their own time.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course, graduates will be able to manage all aspects of the business. Graduates will be able to manage administration, marketing, and human resources.

They will also know how to manage programs that promote personal effectiveness. Graduates will manage and report on projects successfully, whilst knowing how to manage risk within the business.

This course may lead to roles such as Business Analyst, Business Manager, Senior Executive Business Development Director.

Delivery Mode

For each unit, students will be required to attend face to face classes, and complete self-paced activities and assessment tasks.

Pathways

Students who successfully complete the assessment requirements for BSB60215 Advanced Diploma in Business will be issued with a certificate.

Day Timetables will consist of 4 sessions delivered in 2 days + self-directed learning:

Day 1

(Session 2) 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Day 2

(Session 1) 9:00AM – 1:00PM

(Session 2) 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM

*Please note that the timetable is subject to change. FOCUS reserves the right to make adjustments to the timetable of all its classes to best suit the academic requirements of the programs. Each VET batch in a course has been allocated with space for 16 hours per week. The 4-hour self-directed learning may take place on campus or off campus. Students may use the computer lab space or classroom space based on availability.

Year 12 Completed (Or equivalent in home country) / 5.5 IELTS or Equivalent
