Introduction
The Certificate in Counselling Skills is designed for those who work in health and social care or related fields, and need advanced communication and counselling skills within their primary role.
Successful completion of the four modules of the course give eligibility for the award of COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills. COSCA (the professional body for counselling and psychotherapy in Scotland) is the regulatory body for counselling skills in Scotland.
Study mode
Attendance is required one evening per week, plus a minimum of one weekend day per module.
Accreditation
COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills (COSCA is the Professional Body for Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland). The Certificate of Counselling Skills awards 40 SCQF credits at SCQF level 7.
