Introduction
COURSE GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This course aims to provide high-level technical training on how to manage international trade operations and contribute to the sustainable international development of the company, through research and monitoring of the international markets in which the company operates, prospecting/promoting, negotiating, carrying out and follow-up of the sales of its products and/or services in foreign markets and the optimization of import processes.
LEARNING OUTCOMES/MAIN ACTIVITIES
A) Elaborate market studies related to the strategic segments of the company's target market, positioning and marketing strategy in foreign markets:
Collect and analyze various information, systematically and regularly, about products/services, customers, the company's competition and other contextual factors of importance to the company's internationalization policy;
Analyze the market for the products/services in which it operates, using sources internal and external to the company;
Prepare for decision-making;
B) Manage sales in an international context (export):
Prospect to define an adjusted commercial offer;
Sell to foreign markets;
Ensure sales follow-up;
C) Manage sales in an international context (import):
Create a database of potential suppliers;
Participate in the purchase negotiation process.
Ensure the follow-up of purchases
D) Coordinate import and export support services:
Assemble the import-export operations;
Ensuring administrative, procedural and documentary monitoring of import-export operations;
Coordinate commercial management monitoring and evaluation activities and contribute to their maximum effectiveness.
E) Manage commercial and professional relationships in a multicultural context:
Implement communication elements, integrating aspects of a multicultural nature;
Build and streamline a network of international contacts.
