Introduction
Goals
Once a Postgraduate in Technologies for Communication and Business Innovation will have acquired skills to produce content and communicate efficiently on the web, using the latest technologies. You will be able to assume a leading role in digital communication in the organization, company, school or other institution in which you work. The facilitated use of technologies will enhance the performance and visibility of your daily activity. Professionals will be able to act as managers in the area of organizational systems, responsible for the development of innovation projects, where they assume the role of entrepreneur, team leader and product and service innovation activities.
Students who complete the Course in Technologies for Communication and Business Innovation should be able to:
- Plan and implement training systems, based on the Web (Objective developed, essentially, in the module of E-Learning Systems);
- Analyze and design content for the web (Objective developed, essentially, in the Distance Communication Technologies module);
- Design and implement recovery plans in case of disaster (Objective developed, essentially, in the IT Security module);
- Plan and implement in an integrated, systemic and holistic way a project to implement information systems and technologies for the web (Objective developed, essentially, in the Information Systems module);
- Leading a group of people, negotiating effectively, communicating clearly, mastering organizational techniques and learning to learn (Objective developed, essentially, in the Organizational Communication module);
- Using WEB technologies in an organization's internal and external communication processes (Objective developed, essentially, in the Organizational Communication and Web Communication module);
- Implementation of electronic commerce technologies and exploitation of emerging technologies (Objective developed, essentially, in the module of Electronic Commerce and Innovation and Organizational Technology);
- Analyse, design and transform an organizational innovation project in an integrated, systemic and holistic way, using current technologies and using project management techniques (Objective developed, essentially, in the module of Innovation and Organizational Technology and Management of technological projects);
- Manage the complexity of the structural and functional relationships of organizations and the surrounding context in the design of processes (Objective developed, essentially, in the Information and Knowledge Management module);
- Combining physical and human resources, in an attitude of innovative initiative, to produce new goods and services that add value to an organization (Objective developed, essentially, in the Innovation and Organizational Technology module).
Regime
B-learning teaching system (face-to-face classes and synchronous sessions)
Duration of the course
2 Semesters with the Working Time (Hours) regime, distinguishing between Contact Hours and the Total Working Hours foreseen for each curricular unit.
Each unit has 3 face-to-face sessions that take place on Friday night, Saturday morning and some on Saturday afternoon.
