    Programs

    LaSalle College offers over 60 programs that respond to students' needs with programs that bridge college-level education and the various outlets, be it the industry, organizations or university. Here is a list of diplomas recognized by the ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur:

    • Diploma of College Studies (DCS)
    • Attestation of college studies (ACS)

    Our two-year preuniversity programs lead to a DCS and allow graduates to pursue university studies in Canada, USA, Europe, and Australia.

    Three-year DCS programs are also offered and allow students to gain a skill set directly applicable in the job market.

    Admission Criteria

    DCS: To be admitted to a DCS program, you must obtain a Diploma of Secondary Studies (DES) or its recognized equivalent.

    ACS: To be admitted to an ACS program, you must be deemed by the College to have sufficient prior training and satisfy one of the following conditions:

    • To have interrupted studies for at least 2 consecutive semesters, or one year
    • To hold an agreement between an employer and the College
    • To have completed at least one year in post-secondary studies

    For Canadians and Quebecers, you may need to take a written language test to determine your proficiency in the chosen language of instruction. This test, or the standardized test, allows us to adapt your academic track to your needs so that you can obtain your Diploma of College Studies (DCS).

    Processing Time

    Canadian applicants: Up to 2 weeks

    The registration period at LaSalle College, contrary to other college-level institutions, is open all year round.

    We do our best to process all applications as quickly as possible. We recommend submitting your application as soon as possible to ensure a spot in your desired semester.

    We begin to process applications once we have received:

    • all validated documents, and
    • the payment of the admission fee.

    Note: Some files may require additional processing time. Processing time may be extended during the period before the August and January terms.`

    3. Email sent to candidate specifying documents to provide
    4. All requested documents received
    5. The auditor validates all documents
    6. If the file is approved, an educational services contract is created
    7. Approved file sent to admissions advisor
    8. The educational services contract sent to the candidate for signature
    9. The signed contract was received and registration fees paid
    10. Registration is confirmed

Our dedicated student ambassadors, known as the "yellow shirts", will be there to guide you and answer any questions. On back-to-school day, enjoy exciting activities to relax and meet new people. We want your integration to be smooth, pleasant and stress-free!

      Even before your arrival, you’ll have access to our student virtual guide. This guide contains all the necessary information to start your session successfully.

      It answers questions about understanding your schedule, paying tuition fees, obtaining your student card and OPUS card, and preparing for online courses (first login, software training, etc.).
