Introduction
The CertHE provides a foundation in the main sub-disciplines of theology: biblical studies, doctrine, history, and practical ministry. A central year-long module is Scripture for Theology & Ministry, which explores the nature and purpose of Scripture, biblical interpretation and how Scripture relates to issues in ministry, theology and our self-knowledge.
In addition to the careful and sequential ordering of compulsory modules, flexibility with elective modules enables students to prepare themselves for a variety of ministries, including pastoral leadership, cross-cultural ministry, youth and children’s ministry and specialisation in a particular theological discipline.
