Ohio Business College
Introduction
Ohio Business College has a long history of preparing individuals for success in the workforce. OBC was founded in 1903 as Lorain Business College in Lorain, Ohio. It was a private, co-educational career school. In the 1980s the school gained accreditations that were critical to its growth. Since then, the school has opened additional campuses in Sandusky and Dayton and changed its name to what it is today: Ohio Business College.
Today OBC is one of Ohio’s premier career training colleges dedicated to teaching people who are eager to learn and be great at what they do. We are committed to your success. Whether you have just graduated from high school or an adult seeking a career change, we will do everything we can to set you up for a meaningful career.
We offer a variety of different programs across the industries of healthcare, business, trades and truck driving. Regardless of what your career aspirations may be, we are certain that we have a program to help you get where you want to go. We are all about providing adults with the choices and flexibility needed to fit an education into the chaos that everyday life can bring. Whether its financial, scheduling or career flexibility you are seeking, rest assured we will work with you to help make your professional dreams a reality.
Ohio Business College - Truck Driving Academy opened a branch campus in September 2010 and is now located in Dayton, OH. Previously, the location operated under the name of Tri-State Driver Training, Inc. As it did under the original owners, our Truck Driving Academy prepares drivers to meet government and industry standards. The current owners of the facility ramped up the facilities and services available in order to provide better preparation and certification for more drivers.
