Introduction
The Behavioral Health (BHP) program is a degree option for those interested in human behaviour, especially in clinical or health-related settings.
Students will study behavioural health concepts related to addiction and substance abuse, counselling, group dynamics, and human development during the program. The Behavior health program will also cover current trends, best practices, and up-to-date research findings. Students complete coursework for Certified Addiction Counselor I and II as a part of the Associate of Applied Science degree.
Suppose you wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree after earning your AAS. In that case, you can take advantage of a smooth transfer to the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS) BA in Human Services.
