Associate of Science Degree - BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

The degree program includes liberal arts courses to meet the needs of businesses that desire employees who are educated in business and have a global perspective. Therefore, this curriculum requires liberal arts courses in the humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences in addition to business courses in economics and accounting. The program is comparable in length and course content to the first two years of baccalaureate business administration curricula. Students who earn an AS degree will be prepared for transfer to four-year colleges or universities. Students should become familiar with the requirements of the major department at the contemplated transfer institutions. When students choose courses, they should base their choice on the requirements of the transfer institutions. The responsibility for proper course selection rests with the student. Students who complete the program and fulfil all other graduation requirements will be awarded a science degree in business administration.
