The Foundation Program at SBS offers a new and exciting alternative route to studying for a full Bachelors Program at SBS. If you have non-standard qualifications or do not quite meet the entry requirements for our three-year Bachelor Program, then the Foundation Program is for you.

The SBS Foundation Program offers a range of modules that will enhance your learning, support your development, and help you develop the theoretical, practical and academic skills you will need to transition to the higher education level necessary to complete the Bachelor Program at SBS, complete an internship or embark into the job market.

Semester 1: October / Semester 2: February

The Foundation Program at SBS offers a new and exciting alternative route into studying for a full Bachelors Program at SBS. If you have non-standard qualifications or do not quite meet the entry requirements for our three-year Bachelor Program, then the Foundation Program is for you.

Credits: In total 12 subjects. Each subject receives 4 credits. Total credits for the diploma programs: 48 credits. Special educational event per semester: 2 credits (total: 6 credits). Additional credits for the final project: 6 credits. Total: 60 credits.

Admission requirements: Minimum age 17, no high school or equivalent necessary.

Completion: High School grade equivalent private Diploma of useful and practical knowledge and skills.

Credits earned for relevant courses completed at other schools, colleges or universities can be evaluated for transfer into one of our programs. Transfer students do not need to submit letters of recommendation. Transfer students need to submit transcripts from their previous schools, colleges or universities so that credits and courses may be evaluated for transfer.

Students may send in their applications all year round. There is no specific deadline to apply as applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with students able to start their studies in October and February. Please allow some time for your application to be processed.

Students who are not citizens of the European Union are encouraged to apply approximately 2-4 months before the preferred starting date in order to allow time for visa processing. In case the visa is delayed, students can postpone their studies until the next available starting date. In order to apply for a visa you must be accepted as a student at Schellhammer Business School and fulfill all guidelines and requirements established by the Embassy in their country.
