Entrepreneurship & Innovation Graduate Certificate

Prepare to take a new idea and turn it into a commercially successful venture in the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management Entrepreneurship and Innovation Certificate program, which can be completed through a combination of online and in-person courses.

We'll take you through the innovation journey in classes with experienced faculty. You'll learn to go through the entrepreneurial process, from idea generation and opportunity identification to business planning, funding, product development, and testing. Finally, you'll explore managing a growing business.

During your time in the program, you'll be eligible for a meeting with our career coaches to plan your next career steps. In as little as 12 months, you can complete the graduate certificate and apply your knowledge and credits toward the Carlson School's Online or Part-Time MBA or begin growing a new business or existing idea.
