Introduction
This course is for those wanting an engineering technician-level qualification or advanced entry into a university degree programme. It covers all aspects of mechanical engineering as well as quality management and business awareness.
Besides traditional types of experiments and test equipment, you will use some of the latest mechanical engineering design software around on this up-to-date and progressive course. Industrial visits, university visits and contact with people working in the field are all part of the experience.
Education: progression to the third year of the BEng mechanical engineering at Napier University is achievable with suitable passes in the graded units. Students have previously progressed onto further study at Heriot-Watt and Strathclyde University (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)
