Introduction
With accreditation at the Associate Engineer level by Engineers Australia, the Associate Degree in Engineering will provide you with the opportunity to explore all major engineering domains before deciding on an area of specialisation. The Associate Degree in Engineering allows students to select an area of specialisation: civil, electrical, mechanical or mechatronics (robotics) engineering.
All specialisations are designed to develop a strong grounding in engineering science and the principles underlying the field of expertise, ensuring that the knowledge and skills learned are transferable across different applications and situations. Students who complete the Associate Degree in Engineering receive guaranteed entry into the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at Western Sydney University with a minimum of 1.5 years' credit.
