Introduction

Curtin College delivers diploma courses which lead into 2nd year of selected bachelor degrees at Curtin University. These diploma courses are equivalent to first year of the degree and follows the university curriculum and unit structure so upon completion of the course, students can gain guaranteed entry into second year of their chosen bachelor degree.

Located on campus, Curtin College students have also access to Curtin University facilities and can experience university life from day one. With a supportive learning environment and small class sizes, we ensure students received extra help and support when needed.

Accreditation

Curtin College is registered as a higher education provider under the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). TESQA regulates and assures the quality of Australia’s higher education sector (including universities). As a higher education provider, Curtin College must adhere to these standards.

The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) is the national policy for regulated qualifications in Australian education and training. It incorporates the qualifications from each education and training sector into a single comprehensive national qualifications framework. The AQF was first introduced in 1995 to underpin the national system of qualifications in Australia encompassing higher education, vocational education and training and schools.

Industry Association Memberships

Curtin College is a member of the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET). ACPET is a national industry association for independent providers of education and training, for Australian and International students.

The College is also a member of the Western Australian Private Education and Training Industry Association (WAPETIA) is an association of schools and colleges all dedicated to fair and ethical conduct and the provision of quality education in Western Australia.
