About the PGA International Golf Institute

The PGA International Golf Institute (PGA IGI) offers education through its golf management colleges, combining business and golf training as well as practical golf skills to prepare you for a career in the golf industry. Whether you are interested in a golf career or a career in golf management then the PGA IGI courses will assist you in getting there. The PGA IGI prepares its graduates for a career in the business and management of golf as an industry. Owned by the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) of Australia, the PGA IGI now has an articulation agreement with Griffith University and The International College of Management Sydney (ICMS) which provides the diversity to choose different golf career pathways and with opportunities for elite athletes, coaches and administrators in the golf industry and related business sectors. Our golf professional training program and business qualifications are highly regarded within the industry and are increasingly recognized as the best in the business. We regularly liaise with golf industry experts to ensure that our curriculum and golf training provides the skills and learning outcomes that make our graduates employable. The PGA International Golf Institute (PGA IGI) delivers Australia’s only 10459NAT Diploma of Golf Management qualification. Delivered over one year of study, students will undertake a program of academic study and golf development, to take the first steps towards a career in golf.

Since its opening in 2005, the PGA IGI has been a leader in golf education. The qualification was developed by the PGA IGI in consultation with golf industry bodies, covering the best practice principles for the business and management of the golf industry.

Throughout their study, students get access to a number of leaders from the golf industry. Students will also spend time with PGA Golf Professionals who have coached a number of golf’s leading talents.
