Who we are

ICOT College is an English School based in Dublin, Ireland with eight years of substantial experience. We have been able to merge the school process and student experience to facilitate the active participation of the students inside and outside the classroom.

Based on a lot of research and investment, the quality of our services is improved every day. We adapt to each new student and their life experience. More than just an English school, we are here to be part of your dream.

It is the educational policy of ICOT College to aid, guide and support all of our language students towards a focused approach to improving their overall level of competency of the English language.

Our goal is to provide all of our students with an educational experience based on communicative method teaching, learner-centred that can prepare the students for their academic and social development. We support our students to maximise the immersion language experience.

ICOT Dublin

Dublin is located in the province of Leinster on the east coast of Ireland. Dublin has an urban area population of 1,173,179. One of the most economically growing places in Europe, Dublin is a great opportunity to invest in your future.

ICOT is located in the heart of Dublin, in front of O'Connell Bridge. That will make your daily life in Dublin easier. A Luas stop right in front of the school. If you are looking for a bus stop, there are plenty of them around. Just 5-minute walk away, you will find yourself within the Temple Bar area. And that’s not all! A privileged ICOT location allows you to quickly reach Irish Government Buildings, Museums, Colleges and Libraries.

The inviting rooms reveal a pleasant space with TV’s, high-quality loudspeakers, comfortable chairs and wi-fi. In addition to English classes, we have a large number of extra lessons that are free. In our canteen, you can buy food and sit comfortably while you enjoy your meal. There is a microwave and electric Kettle for you to use. You will also find a library and computers for your convenience. In addition, a library has a collection for you to use and consult.


ICOT Cork

Cork is a city in south-west Ireland, in the province of Munster, which had a population of 125,622. Cork is the second biggest city in Ireland, with an atmosphere traditional and very welcomed.

While studying at ICOT, Cork, you will have the opportunity to explore Cork city and county with excursions organized to various local attractions and of course to our famous Irish pubs. Sample the music and culture of Cork while at the same time practising the English you are learning at the College.

There are so many things to do and see in Cork and they are all within walking distance of the College!

If you are a foodie you can visit the world-famous English Market which is a 3-minute walk from the College. Around the corner from The English Market is Patrick Street which is a shopper’s paradise. Should you enjoy visiting historic buildings, Elizabeth Fort, St. Finbarr’s Cathedral and the celebrated Shandon Bells are also nearby. If Art and Culture is your cup of tea, you can go to the Crawford Gallery or The Opera House

Course: General English

Campus 1 - 25 weeks Open Enrollment Ireland Dublin Cork

The General English course is one of the most common classes for those who would like to improve the English speaking, writing and listening skills. When you arrive, you will take a placement test and be placed accordingly based on your CEFR level. Classes start every Monday on a continuous enrolment. There is no time limit on how long you should stay in a level, but generally, when you start a level, you should be ready to move up after around 12 weeks. Weekly progress tests and monitoring from teachers will help you develop your skills. [+]

Pace (Full-Time, Part-Time or Combo): 15hrs per week classes Level: Beginner to Proficient Location: Two units in Dublin and one unit in Cork Classes start every Monday on a continuous enrolment. Prices: Not fixed as the price depends on how long the student will stay with us Duration: According to the student choice Teaching Languages: English Language - There are extra activities for Spanish classes and Italian classes once a week
