Istituto Italiano di Fotografia has been for 20 years a school leader in the field of vocational training in Italy. Training in IIF is characterized by its completeness and for its practical and professional approach that ranges among the most important sectors in the world of photography.

OUR MISSION

IIF’s mission is to provide a preparation for photography that is solid, complete and modern expressive language of style and innovation. The primary objective is that students develop sensitivity and critical insight necessary to approach the market of photography in a more expressive and dynamic way as possible.

Istituto Italiano di Fotografia is a reality suitable for student, a photographic laboratory in which everyone is assisted educationally, professionally and personally. A place for cultivating their skills and expressive and creative abilities, following an individual and personalized path of growth made by comparison with the teachers and exchanges with colleagues. A welcoming, “family” atmosphere that promotes the acquisition of skills necessary to become trained professionals, photographers able to express their creativity through a unique, personal and original.

Basic PHOTOGRAPHY Summer Course

Campus Full time 51 hours June 2019 Italy Milan

This course is dedicated to those who want to have a first approach to the world of digital photography, both indoors and outdoors, starting with the basics of photographic technique. The various photographic genres will be addressed by the portrait in studio and in a “household” - considering the use of tools and equipment available to the students - and the landscape, intended as a research of expression through special technical languages. Overview:

This course is dedicated to those who want to have a first approach to the world of digital photography, both indoors and outdoors, starting with the basics of photographic technique. The various photographic genres will be addressed by the portrait in studio and in a “household” - considering the use of tools and equipment available to the students - and the landscape, intended as a research of expression through special technical languages.

Moreover it will be developed a section devoted to reportage, with a specific focus on street photography. This in order to learn a first approach to build possible photographic service, through exercises “in the field” and the introduction to topics of photo editing.... [-]


Food PHOTOGRAPHY Summer Course

Campus Full time 30 hours July 2019 Italy Milan

An intensive course that aims to provide participants, which already possess the basic photographic techniques, the tools in order to learn the methods, the tricks and the difficulties of professional food photography. The student will learn to plan and organize their own creative process, starting from the idea of the project, then move through the process of the research for the proposed topics, planning for the following operational phases such as shooting, post-production, and finally the elaboration of the final product. The photographers will also have the ability to interact with various figures working in the world of food and professional photography. [+]

Photography and Fashion Summer Course

This unique course brings together the key concepts of both photography and fashion to provide students with introductory knowledge and skills in fashion photography. Emphasizing both technical photography skills and fashion industry insight, this course gives the student a well-rounded understanding of the business of fashion and the role of the fashion photographer within the industry. To provide the student a real ‘insider’ perspective, this course also includes interactions with established fashion photographers, makeup artist, and modeling agencies. [+]
