Ozarks Technical Community College

Springfield voted to establish Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC) on April 3, 1990. The Springfield school district residents and 13 surrounding public school districts voted to establish a community technical college.

Since that time, OTC continues to uphold a core set of values. Our values include quality, opportunity, accessibility, learning, inclusion, innovation, community, respect, integrity, and personal growth. We uphold a mission to promote student learning through accessible, high-quality, affordable workforce training. We provide both technical and general education that is responsive to the community's educational needs and its diverse constituencies.
